OUT WITH THE OLD....IN WITH THE NEW
As the readers know, there are two versions of "Jurascals" in newspapers, there is a Nebraska story with Dinosaur and Skunk and there is a story in Auburn, NY involving a dinosaur named Wilcox, a large apatosaurus named Will and the original family of Lina and her Dad.
This change involves SPECIFICALLY the Auburn, NY storyline, the Nebraska one is untouched.
For the entire year, a temporary dinosaur named Wilcox arrived as a "temp" for the comic strip. Wilcox experienced jury duty, tried to start a business and tried to get employed in the world of academia. Then he wanted to write a story of the area. His first idea was a superhero comic version of a story. Then, he came up with a new way to tell a Finger Lakes story but it was risky...in order to tell it, the universe had to be rebooted. For two weeks the characters discussed the idea of rebooting the universe and then...well you'll see what happens...
And with that the series REBOOTED.
The following Monday began the new JURASSICALS.
I believe this will be the best I've ever done with the Auburn strip. The story will have a beginning, middle and end, the characters will be more believable and act believably and will LOOK more believable.
Here is the first week-the story begins with the introduction of the family.
I hope you like it. If you do, please like jurascals on facebook and/or make a comment here!
If this is your first time seeing the daily comic strip, let me know if you'd like to see more!
Once again, please like JURASCALS on facebook (which I might be changing the whole name of both strips to JURASSICALS and if this is your first time seeing the daily comic strip, let me know if you'd like to see more!
